Dear God, I realize now how far I had strayed from thee. I see that I had taken my life into my hands and said "I have it all figured out, I know what my life will be...". Oh, how wrong I was Lord. You laughed softly, and with a tear in your eye said "Oh Maryssa, sweet Maryssa. That isn't how life works. I see into eternity and I know the plans I have for you". I know that when I cry, you cry. When I feel lost, you send angels to guide and protect me. I am sorry that I stopped turning to you. I'm sorry that I thought I knew better than you. I don't, Lord. I really don't. Father, I am grateful you gave me these three wonderful years with my husband. I am grateful for the stability of our home, and our finances. You knew I needed that stability for this period of my life. As life changes drastically for us both, I pray that we will be guided to greener pastures.
