Believe Him

I was sitting at church today and I saw a sign on the wall that said "Believe Him". Normally they say "Believe in Him" so I had to do a double take and read it again. Believe Him . Believe Him about what? I believe in God and Jesus Christ. I believe that He is my Savior and Redeemer and that He suffered and died for me...so Believe Him about what? Believe Him when He says He loves you. When He says you are His child. When He says that you are his lamb and he will search for you until He finds you. Believe Him when he says that you are precious in His sight. Believe Him! We believe in Christ...but do we truly Believe Him? I think that is the key, because until we Truly Believe Him...we will never be able to rise to our full potential, because we won't have the belief in ourselves...but if we Believe Him, then we will also believe Him when he says We are children of God with the potential to become like Him. We are of Infinite Worth...because He Said so . ...

Proverbs 31:10-31

I know every Christian Woman has heard these scriptures...the ones about a virtuous woman. But do we really understand them? I didn't. So this is my interpretation of them. *They don't reflect anyone elses opinions. 10. Who can find a virtuous woman? She is rare and beautiful. 11. Her husband trusts her; he can depend on her. 12. Seeks healthy, good food maybe. 15. She gets up early to take care of her friends and family. 16. She is a business woman, she can think on her own and buy land and works to cultivate it. 17. She strengthens her muscles. She is also strong when it comes to chastity. She knows her worth. 18. She knows that what she has to offer is good! Her light shines even in the dark. 19. She creates and works with her hands. 20. She gives to the poor and ...

We did not marry in the temple

I am a Mormon, and my husband and I did not get married in the temple...but we got there as fast as we could! Here's why. We just celebrated our 1 year anniversary earlier this year. How times flies! Being married to my best friend has helped me learn what God's plan is for his children. I am more in love with this man than I ever thought possible and I KNOW that Heavenly Father wants us to be able to spend forever with each other...not "till death do us part". We were both raised in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. But unlike many, we did not marry in the temple. We made choices that prevented us from being married there. BUT we worked very hard this past year so that we could go back and be sealed as soon as we could. It took time, tears, a lot of prayer, and our wonderful bishop of our church to help us. June 3, 2017 Micah and I had our marriage sealed for time and all eternity in the Twin Falls Idaho temple. It was the best day of our lives...
